Area youth were entertained by Titusville Elks Lodge at a picnic to kick off Youth Week. "Our youth are the community leaders of tomorrow" said Youth Activities Chairwoman Shawn Marsh. "We wanted to show them how much we care". Mayor Dennis Paden has issued a proclamation proclaiming May 4 – May 10 as Elks Youth Week in Titusville.

The picnic was arranged by Marsh and Exalted Ruler Robert Beauchat. Assisting was PER David Smeltz, PDDGER Timothy McCandless and PER Carolyn Phenicie.
