Elk of the Year Award

The late James L. "Stitch" Eddy has been recognized for his dedicated service to the Elks Lodge. Eddy, who unselfishly gave of his time in planning many Elks picnics and other social activities, was a long-time member of the Lodge. Eddy was selected by an anonymous committee appointed by the Lodge Exalted Ruler Robert Beauchat. Beauchat (left) presented the award to Eddy's widow Barbara Eddy. The late Eddy was also recognized by Past District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler Richard Kaputa (right) at the annual Past Exalted Rulers Night at the Lodge. Kaputa reminisced about Eddy's life and dedicated the March class of new members in his memory.
