State Soccer Shoot

Joseph Downing has returned from competition in State College as the champion in the 10 and 11 year old boys division of the PA Elks Soccer Shoot. Downing beat out nine other contestants from across PA to win. He will now advance to the Mid-Atlantic competition, consisting of first place winners from WV, DL, and MD. Dowing, a 4th grade student at Main Street Elementary, is the son of Joseph and Kimberley Downing.

Shannon Moore took second place State-wide in the 10 & 11 year old girls division. In the event that the first place winner cannot attend the Mid-Atlantic meet, Moore will attend. Shannon, a 6th grade student at Titusville Middle School is the daughter of David and Debbie Moore.

Accompanying the youth to State College was David Moore, Co-chair of our Soccer Shoot committee.

Six youth participated in the State Soccer Shoot at State College. The were: front: Jazmyn Young in 8-9 girls division.
